Job Description

  • Plan, prepare, and oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure food quality and consistency.
  • Develop and update menus in line with company standards, customer preferences, and cost targets.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, assign duties, and ensure proper food preparation techniques and hygiene standards.
  • Control food costs, manage inventory, and minimize waste through effective kitchen management.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and operations teams for timely procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the kitchen area.
  • Handle customer feedback related to food quality and make necessary improvements.
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff to improve skills and performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in kitchen operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or Head Chef role.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management.
  • Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
