Job Description

  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet production schedules and customer demand.
  • Supervise and monitor the entire production process to ensure products are manufactured on time and meet quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality management systems, including ISO, FDA, GMP, HACCP, and FSSC 22000 requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the QA/QC team to maintain product quality and ensure the factory is always audit-ready.
  • Manage raw materials, packaging materials, and production resources efficiently to reduce wastage and control manufacturing costs.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
  • Work with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.
  • Coordinate with the Sales team and General Manager to align production output with customer orders and business requirements.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise Production Supervisors and factory employees across Milling, Cooking, Packaging, and Upstream operations.
  • Manage manpower planning, shift scheduling, attendance, discipline, and employee performance.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and present production performance to management.
  • Participate in monthly and annual stock counts and support inventory accuracy.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase productivity, reduce operational costs, and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies, company procedures, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum5–8 years of experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production, with at least 3 years in a Production Manager or Production Supervisor leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, including Milling, Cooking, Packaging, and Upstream Operations.
  • Good understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, including ISO 22000, GMP, HACCP, FDA, and FSSC 22000 standards.
  • Proven experience in production planning, capacity planning, process optimization, and manufacturing cost control.
  • Strong knowledge of production KPIs such as productivity, yield, efficiency, downtime, OEE, and wastage reduction.
  • Experience in managing production teams, shift planning, manpower allocation, and employee performance.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with QA/QC, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Sales, and other cross-functional departments.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Good leadership, communication, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and production reporting systems. Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, or public holidays, when required by production schedules.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Able to prepare production reports, analyze manufacturing performance, and recommend process improvements.
  • Proficient in both Myanmar and English communication skills (preferred).
