Job Description

  • Prepare various traditional Myanmar salads according to established standards.
  • Perform systematic ingredient preparation, including washing, cutting, and proper storage.
  • Maintain taste consistency by strictly following standard recipes.
  • Adhere to all food hygiene and safety rules to ensure a clean working environment.
  • Manage daily preparation tasks (mise en place) to ensure readiness for service.
  • Monitor stock levels and report requirements to management.
  • Ensure timely serving of orders while maintaining high presentation quality.
  • Assist in creating new menus or special salad items.
  • Practice diligent waste control and cost management.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School completion.
  • Priority given to candidates with professional cooking or culinary training.
  • 2–4 years of experience specializing in Myanmar salads.
  • Experience in a Tea Shop or Myanmar Restaurant setting is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional Myanmar salad recipes and preparation techniques.
  • Strong knife skills and efficient preparation abilities.
  • Good time management and high hygiene awareness.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Neat, organized, and systematic in work habits.
  • Patient, fast-paced, and highly focused on tasks.
  • Responsible and capable of performing under high pressure.
